Welcome to the Galveston Hotel & Lodging Association! 

Welcome to the Galveston Hotel & Lodging Association (GHLA)!  Our members include more than 100 hotels and allied business located across Galveston Island.  Members range from small family owned properties to major convention hotels.  GHLA advocates on behalf of its member’s interests through active involvement in local, state, and national issues. 

GHLA offers members the ability to network with the leading members of the local hospitality industry and attend educational events discussing top trends and issues facing the industry.

    Dear Members,

    We want to inform you of a change to the program for our upcoming lunch in Galveston on Wednesday, March 18.

    Our originally scheduled speaker, Colin Sherman with CoStar Group, is unfortunately no longer able to attend. In his place, we will have the following speakers:

    • Tony Lyle, Dwayne Jones and Will Wright 

    They will be presenting “What You Need to Know About the FIFA World Cup” along with an update regarding upcoming maritime initiatives impacting our region.

     If you would prefer to receive a refund due to the program change, please contact our office. Otherwise, if we do not hear from you, we look forward to seeing you on Wednesday, March 18.
